Privacy Policy

We store only what the tools need, and we spell out what we do NOT collect just as clearly as what we do.

Accounts

The full version of the pathway tool requires an account. Accounts use email and password authentication. The password is used only for authentication; we do not keep your password in plain text in our business data.

Once you sign in, your browser holds a sign-in session so you stay signed in and only you can open your own records.

What is stored in your account

When you save a pathway assessment we store the structured answers you selected, the version of the assessment rules, the result that was generated, the name you gave the record, and the creation and update times.

We do not store long personal narratives or case histories, and we do not ask for passport information, an A-Number, bank statements or tax filings. A receipt number entered in the case status lookup is never saved to your account. There is no document upload, case handling or payment on this site.

Case status lookup (no account needed)

The case status lookup needs only a USCIS receipt number. When you submit it, that number is sent through our server to our lookup provider, MyCases, to complete that one request, and the status text returned is displayed to you.

The number is not saved to your account, not placed in the URL, not written to browser storage, and not used for analytics or marketing. It exists only in that input and that request; "Clear" removes the input and the result from the page, and nothing about the lookup remains on the page after you close or reload it.

We do not claim the number "never leaves your browser", and we cannot promise that no technical logs are produced anywhere: completing the lookup necessarily involves our server and the lookup provider. We do not use it for anything beyond completing that request.

This page still does not ask for an A-Number, passport details, bank statements or documents; there is no document upload on this site.

How it is used

Saved content is used only to show your own records back to you, so you can return to them or start again.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not provide it to third parties except with your consent, or as necessary to deliver something you have specifically asked for.

What you can do yourself

On the My tools page you can view, rename or delete any assessment you have saved. Once deleted, a record is no longer shown and is no longer used to produce results.

For the account itself (for example closing the whole account) there is no self-service option on the site yet. We will update this page when there is.

Sign-in session

The sign-in session is necessary for your account and the tools to work.

Security

We take reasonable technical and administrative measures so that each account can only read and write its own records. However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Updates to this policy

This policy is updated as the site's functionality changes, and the revised version is posted on this page. It is a general statement and does not constitute legal advice.
