What the four evidence states mean
  • Matched to a formal documentYou have seen the same figure in a formal document (PPM, economic report, loan or security documents). It means you hold a document that matches — not that we or any third party independently verified it.
  • Disclosed by the projectIt comes only from the project's verbal explanation, marketing material or email, and is not yet matched to a formal document.
  • To be providedNot provided yet, or you have not received the material. Even if you typed a provisional figure, while the state stays "to be provided" it is not used as evidence in the comparison and stays on the to-provide list. The tool never substitutes zero or a guess.
  • Materials conflictDifferent materials give inconsistent figures; ask the project to explain in writing before comparing. A conflict is never resolved automatically.
